I’m the owner of Stronghold Tattoo Studio. I established my tattoo studio back in 2019 after graduating college. I graduated from the University of Minnesota, Duluth with a Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Art.
My interests include playing Mario Kart and Super Smash, collecting Pokemon and Digimon cards, watching anime, painting, rollerblading, and working out.
Over the years I’ve been able to develop my tattoo style and have leaned what type of tattoos I enjoy doing while simultaneously learning what tattoo ideas would be a better fit with another artist.
Tattoo subject matter that WOULD be a good fit with me: Anime portraits, anything geeky/nerdy, Pokemon, floral, Illustrative Black and Grey, realism, American Traditional, neotraditional, Japanese-inspired subject matter.
Subject matter that WOULD NOT be a good fit with me: Tribal, Polynesian, Celtic, Large-scale blackwork, Nordic, Geometric, Forest/tree wraps, Arm bands

The booking form below allows me to get a better idea of what sort of tattoo you are looking to get. Please look over my policies below BEFORE filling out the form. Not every tattoo idea will be a good fit with me. Once you fill out a booking form, I will look over it and respond letting you know if I believe that I’m the right artist for your idea. Don’t be discouraged if I turn down your idea. The studio is filled with artists that possess a range of different skillsets, preferences and styles. I typically book out AT LEAST a month in advance. Please allow up to a week for me to respond to your booking inquiry. I respond by email. Sometimes my responses end up in people’s spam folder, so make sure to consistently check your spam folder! It would also help to add my email to your contacts.
Pricing
My minimum is $125
My hourly rate is $175/hr
A full day session is $1,000
My hourly rate for predrawn flash is
$150/hr
*I normally only work Tuesday-Friday. I will, however, sometimes be willing to come in on my days off for certain projects. In these instances, my weekend rate is $200/hr

If making a custom request, please keep my style in mind. I prefer not to tattoo images I have already tattooed. There are a few exceptions, like my repeatable flash. However, I’d rather you not show me a design you saw on Pinterest that you want replicated as is. Instead, describe the image that is desired and allow me to create freely. Reference photos are okay, but I will not replicate or copy designs. If you are going to use reference photos, then it’s preferred that you use images of my artwork and tattoos I’ve created. These images will only be used as a reference, or for inspiration, only. My goal is to create a unique design by fusing the image you want with my style.
I prefer not to work on the same session for much more than 4 hours UNLESS you are booked for a full day session,
It is always preferred that you choose a design from my pre-drawn flash. However, if you have a custom request please be as vague as possible. I do my best work when I have the least amount of limitations. Every detail you mention will pull me away from artistic freedom and will water down the artwork.
An example of a custom request I would be excited about: “I want a Pikachu to cover my lower forearm. I want it in full color with a background. I want pikachu to be wearing a backwards baseball cap.”
An example I may pass on could look like this: ‘I want a tree going up my lower forearm. I want the roots to spell out every single one of my family members’ names. I want 5 birds flying above the tree and 2 perched on the branches. I want the tree in color and the birds in black and grey. I want each bird’s eye color to match each family members’ birth stone color.”
Now that you’ve completed this form, please allow time for me to look over your request and respond. It may take up to a week. ALL TATTOO APPOINTMENTS WILL REQUIRE A NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT.
